Si la Sega Saturn n’a pas été la console la plus vendue de sa génération, nombreux sont encore les fans qui apprécient sa ludothèque très fournie, surtout en jeux nippons divers. Mais une autre utilisation de cette console désormais morte a été envisagée par des bidouilleurs d’une boutique de Tokyo à Akihabara, celle d’utiliser le boîtier d’une saturn pour y intégrer un PC. A l’intérieur de cette Saturn PC, un processeur Atom N330, un disque dur Toshiba Sata 2,5 pouces de 160 Go, 2 Go de Ram DDR2-800 et tout le nécessaire pour alimenter ou refroirdir l’ensemble ! Même la souris SEGA de la console d’origine a été transformée pour s’adapter à un port USB.
Une belle performance qui pourra donner des idées à d’autres bidouilleurs !
